    What are you going to do as an intern?
    You will carry out the various activities in the area of ​​Controlling & Information management. You can think of assisting the Sales Controlling team with the monthly closing and daily tasks. You can also think of tasks in the area of:
    • Monthly reporting of company performance to the head office
    • Preparation, consolidation and performance calculation
    Planning and prognoses
    • Consolidation and calculation of expected performance including special effects
    Information management
    • Data inventory and dashboard design
    • Optimization and automation of reporting processes
    An internship is available at the controlling & information management department of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services with effect from August-September for the duration of approximately 4 - 6 months.

    The team
    The Controlling department of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services consists of a manager and seven employees. The team is responsible for controlling and BI activities for the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg and is seen by the internal customer, the various departments within the organization, as the source of information and the first point of contact in the field of figures and reports. In addition to the focus on the general job responsibilities, several large projects are currently running within the department. For example, we are replacing our current local BI tool with a new, future-oriented tool with more functionalities. We are also working on a daily delivery of a large amount of predefined data fields to the head office. The aim of this is to make it possible for our head office to develop a central BI solution in which reports can be developed for all countries at the same time.

Your profile

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling or related fields;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office;
  • Strong analytical and communication skills;
  • Structured work approach;
  • A first experience with PowerBI is a plus;

We offer

In addition, you will receive a gross internship allowance of € 350 per month (Bachelor degree, based on 40 hours a week) or a gross internship allowance of €450 per month (Master degree, based on 40 hours a week).
